A chess set integrating movement rules into the design of each piece.

Most beginner sets either abandon the look of standard chess pieces or add instructions as text. Here the movement logic is built into the base while the overall form stays close to a Staunton set.

The point was to make the object instructional without making it disposable. The related patent application records the design in more detail.
